We have an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Account Executive to join our team and drive the commercial growth of the site. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven, customer focused and have a strong commitment to Vancouver. This role requires you to work with customers in the Vancouver area and help them to find the best way for them to promote their businesses on Vancouver.com. We are nimble and fast paced so we will expect you to develop and promote solutions that are attuned to your customer’s needs and result in repeat business and long term relationships.

Responsibilities:
Contact potential clients, analyze their needs and provide excellent solutions
- Answer in bound leads and inquiries and help clients to secure solutions
- Overcome objections and close sales on the phone and in person
- Manage a substantial annual revenue target by working a huge sales funnel
- Perform prospecting within defined markets
- Manage the entire sales process from prospect to close
- Maintain a positive attitude and a strong competitive drive
- Contribute to the future development and direction of Vancouver.com
Required Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
3+ years of relevant sales experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- First class time management and organizational skills
- A solid track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets
- Great knowledge of the Vancouver
- Extensive experience in complex selling
- Humour, integrity and team player characteristics
- Good knowledge of the internet and web based advertising
