Reinvent Technology Appoints Brian Cannon as Chief Financial Officer

New CFO brings significant venture-growth experience to Reinvent

VANCOUVER, B.C. July 23, 2007 – Reinvent Technology, Inc., a global media and Internet technology company, today announced the appointment of Brian Cannon as its Chief Financial Officer. Brian has nearly two decades of financial and operations background, including extensive experience working with rapidly expanding organizations. He will be based in the Vancouver office, and will be responsible for leading the financial and administrative functions of the company.

Most recently, Brian served as the Chief Operating Officer for a British Columbia healthcare organization that provides innovative cancer care treatments. Before that, he held senior management roles at Crystal Decisions (now Business Objects, an SAP company), including Vice-President of Sales Operations and Vice-President of Finance and Administration. During Brian's tenure, the company was one of the fastest growing enterprise software organizations in the world; annual revenues grew from $10 million to more than $300 million. Following Crystal Decisions’ $1.2 billion acquisition by Business Objects in 2003, Brian oversaw the successful creation of sales operations for the newly-merged company.

Brian is a certified Chartered Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia. He lives in Vancouver with his wife and two children.
