Reinvent Receives Award of Excellence
Vancouver, BC - Reinvent Inc, is pleased to announce that it has received an Award of Excellence for Support Of Canada’s Reserve Forces in the Province of British Columbia. Presented by the British Columbia branch of the Canadian Forces Liaison Council, this award recognizes employers who have offered special support and aid to its employees who are Reservists. Supporting Reservists is especially critical in light of Canada’s large overseas commitment and the need for Reservists to support both Overseas Operations and Domestic missions as well.
Robert M. Bauman, CD Reservist and Reinvent Product Manager says,“By allowing me time off from my civilian job, Reinvent has helped Canada’s Army, and it has helped me to gain critical military leadership skills – that will help as I train soldiers to do their jobs, and that will help me on any eventual overseas deployment I may be on.”
This award was the result of Reinvent’s ongoing support for its Reservist employee over the past two years, allowing the serving member of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada to attend training, exercises and military events totalling over seven weeks of time off from work. The award recognizes Reinvent’s commitment to its community and its nation and was presented during the Provincial Award Ceremony in March 2009.

About the Canadian Forces Liaison Council
The Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) is a group of civilian business leaders who volunteer their time and efforts to promote the primary Reserve Force - Canada's part-time military - by highlighting the benefits of Reserve Force training and experience to the civilian workplace.
The Council is chaired by Mr. John Craig Eaton, chairman of the board of Eaton's of Canada Incorporated. There is a national vice-chair in addition to a chair for each province. Within most provinces, provincial committees have been established to further the work of the Council. A network of provincial military liaison officers assists council members locally and provide a contact point for reservists and employers. The Council is supported by a secretariat located within National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa. For more information, visit: http://www.cflc.forces.gc.ca/index-eng.asp
